MSHS Volleyball Announces 2012 Boys and Girls Grades 5-8 Camp
 
What: Mount Si Volleyball Camp
When: June 4th thru 7th 2012
For: Boys and Girls Grades 5 thru 8
Where: Mount Si High School
Time: 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Cost: $80.00 Pre-registration - $90.00 Late Registration

Gold Medal Squared Volleyball Camp - (Grades 7-12) July 18 - 21st
 
This camp is a first come, first serve. The first 70 athletes to have registered and sent in payment will be in the camp. They must register at www.goldmedalsquared.com and then send in payment and forms to me at Mount Si High School. Please make out checks to Mount Si Volleyball Booster Club. Registration is now open.

Volleyball Adds Final Player
for 2012

Charlotte volleyball added one more player to the roster for the 2012 season this fall, signing outside hitter Sarah McDonald to the program. The 6-1 McDonald hails from Snoqualmie, Wash., more than 2,800 miles away from Charlotte and will become the player furthest from home when she arrives in August.

It was a celebratory atmosphere inside the classroom attached to the Mount Si High School gymnasium yesterday afternoon, as a Wildcat senior volleyball player’s quest for a college scholarship was finally achieved.  
 
BREAKING NEWS: Valley college volleyball player transferring
We have breaking news for you concerning a Valley college volleyball star.
 
Fall City product Zoe Gogan, who graduated from Mount Si High School last year and played sparingly last fall at Washington State as a freshman, has transferred. Montana State University this afternoon announced that Gogan will be joining their program this fall, and will be eligible to compete for the Bobcats at that time. MSU, located in Bozeman, is a member of the Big Sky Conference of NCAA Division I.

Montana State first-year volleyball coach Kyle Weindel has announced the transfer of Washington State outside hitter Zoe Gogan. Gogan will be eligible to play for the Bobcats this fall.
 
“We are really excited to add Zoe to the roster for 2012,” Weindel said. “She is the type of player that can affect the outcome of a match and game plans of opponents based on her size, athleticism, and ability to score points. We are expecting Zoe to have an immediate impact both in practice and in matches.” READ MORE
 
V-ball's Krista Galloway to play for Oregon Tech Owls

Mount Si senior Krista Galloway has signed to play volleyball for the Oregon Institute of Technology at Klamath Falls. Galloway, a 6-1 middle blocker, helped lead the Wildcats to a sixth place finish at the 3A Washington State Championship last fall, and to a third place showing at the SeaKing Districts. She earned second-team all-conference honors in her senior season. READ MORE

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head volleyball coach Jason Corwin announced the first group of signees for the upcoming 2012 season. Kara Young, Krista Galloway and Alyssa Deardorff are set to join the Tech program as freshman when the Owls begin play this fall. READ MORE

Mount Si’s volleyball team, as we told you already, finished sixth for the third straight year this past weekend at the state 3A volleyball tournament, in Lacey. Here’s how each of the four games went.

The Star Times all-area volleyball team, selected from schools in King and Snohomish counties, or in the Metro League and WesCo conferences. CONGRATULATIONS Mount Si Coach Bonnie Foote - Foote, in her 12th season as head coach, has built Mount Si into a perennial state contender. The Wildcats won their third consecutive KingCo 3A/2A championship and finished sixth at state this season, their fourth trophy in the past five years.
